Gothic Lockpicker(“the site”) is a free tool operated by TechGearSoftware (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the site. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site is

Gothic Lockpicker provides a lockpicking solver and a community chest map for the Gothic 1 Remake. It is provided free of charge, for personal, non-commercial use, as an aid to playing the game.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any data it holds, and do not use automated systems to overload or abuse it.
• Community contributions (map pins, names, descriptions, votes) must be relevant and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or infringing material. We may remove any contribution and restrict access at our discretion.

Community contributions

When you add a pin or other content to the community map, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute that content as part of the site. You are responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

No warranty

The site and its solutions are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While the solver is designed to return valid, pick-safe move sequences, we do not guarantee that every result, community contribution, or guide is accurate or complete. Use of the site is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechGearSoftware is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

Support and third-party services

The site is free to use. We may show links to TechGearSoftware (our portfolio) and optional donation services. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. See our privacy policy for details on the data involved.

Intellectual property

Gothic Lockpickeris a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with THQ Nordic, Alkimia Interactive, or Piranha Bytes. “Gothic” and all related marks are the property of their respective owners. The site's own design, text, and code remain the property of TechGearSoftware.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. We will update the “last updated” date above when we do.
